Abstract Submission Guidelines

The Taiwan Occupational Hygiene Association (TOHA), the Center for Occupational Accident Prevention and Rehabilitation (COAPRE), and the Asian Network of Occupational Hygiene (ANOH) are pleased to jointly host the 8th ANOH Conference.
Under the theme “Empowering Occupational Hygiene: Integrating Innovations for a Healthier Tomorrow,” the conference aims to foster collaboration,knowledge exchange, and innovation to advance Industrial Hygiene (IH) /Occupational Hygiene (OH) standards. The event will feature keynote speeches,interactive sessions, practical workshops, and networking opportunities,
empowering professionals and contributing to a healthier future.

    3.1. Topic Selection

    To ensure a fair and efficient review process, authors are required to select the topic that best aligns with the content of their submission. Authors who wish to be considered for an oral presentation must choose one of the six main concurrent session topics (Topics 1–6).

    Submissions that do not align with the selected topic may:

    • Be rejected due to lack of relevance, or
    • Be reassigned to a more suitable topic at the discretion of the Scientific Committee.

    In some cases, reassignment may not be possible, and the submission may therefore be declined. Additionally, regardless of topic selection, abstracts may be rejected if they do not meet the overall quality standards of the conference.

    We strongly recommend reviewing the topic descriptions carefully before submitting your abstract.

    3.2. Presentation Format

    During abstract submission, authors may indicate one of the following presentation format preferences:

    • Oral
    • Poster
    • Either (Oral or Poster)

    The final decision on presentation format will be made by the Scientific Committee, based on content quality, topic relevance, and overall program balance.

    If you are unsure which topic best fits your work, please contact the Organizing Committee prior to submission.

    • Abstracts must be original, plagiarism-free, and comply with copyright laws.
    • Proper attribution is required for any borrowed content, and permissions must be obtained for copyrighted materials.
    • Plagiarism will result in the rejection of all submissions from the same author.
    • Authors are responsible for securing company clearance, including employer approval and covering all travel expenses if selected to present.
    • The conference follows Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines,ensuring research integrity, responsible authorship, and transparency in data presentation.Misconduct, including falsification, data manipulation, or excessive self-citation, is strictly prohibited.

    4.1.Submission Method

    • Abstracts must be submitted through the conference submission system by the deadline.

    4.2.Abstract Requirements

      • Abstracts must be written in English and not exceed 300 words.
      • The content should clearly justify the submitted topic to assist in the evaluation process.
      • Each abstract must include the following:

    Title of the abstract
    Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)
    Objective – Define the objectives and scope of the abstract.
    Methods – Describe the methodology, data collection, and analytical approach.
    Results – Summarize key findings, observations, and data analysis.
    Conclusion – Highlight the significance, implications, and potential applications of the findings.
    Keywords – List 3 to 5 keywords separated by commas.

    4.3.Post-Acceptance Requirements

    • Authors of accepted abstracts will receive instructions on submitting their presentation, including format guidelines.
    • Accepted abstracts may be published, as submitted, in the Conference Proceedings, online media, and the Organizers’ websites.
    • Copyright Requirement: Authors must complete and submit a copyright release form or, where applicable, a copyright exemption form before presentation.

    Each submitted abstract will be reviewed and evaluated by the Scientific Committee based on the following criteria:

    • Relevance to the field of occupational hygiene
    • Alignment with the selected topic area
    • Scientific quality (e.g., clarity, originality, methodological soundness, and contribution to the field)
    • Novelty and Significance
    • Absence of conflict of interest
